Welcoming Reception "speakers & friends":
On Tuesday, November 4, a speakers & friends get together will take place at 6:30 pm before the official conference starts. The location will be something special for our VIP guests! The dress code is casual for this event.**
**Please note free bus transportation will be provided to and from the speakers hotel (NH Hotel) to the get together event.
Conference Dinner:
The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday, November 5, after the initial talks and lectures. Enjoy a typical “beer tour” through the Dortmunder Actien-Brauerei followed by a traditional Dortmund rustic dinner with music & more. The dress code is casual for this event. **
Dortmunder Actien-Brauerei - Beer: An Ancient Yet Modern Biotechnology
The brewery museum of Dortmund emerged on the authentic site of the former machine house of the Hansa brewery. The permanent exhibition reflects the history of Dortmund as a city and an industrial location. It shows the continuing sophistication of the production processes and illustrates the modern history of beer. During the tour you can feel the atmosphere of the brewery in the first part of the 20th century.

**Please note free bus transportation will be provided to and from the event location. Buses will begin leaving from the Harenberg City Center promptly after the end of the sessions at approximately 6:00 pm (in respect to the actual end of the sessions).
A taxi stand will also be located at the entrance of the Main Train Station (200 m away).
